These guys are like vegetable terrorists...they will move in and take over the media to consolidate their hold... lol. I started with a tiny clump maybe 2 inches square!!...they have spread to cover an area about 30 sq. ft...and they are not stopping!! I don't mind...this is what I wanted for a ground cover...after blooming their foliage is a lovely mid green heartshape... I love them and I hope they stay...but felt I should forewarn you ....

no idea Jacque... to be brutally honest, I've just ignored them and let them do their stuff!! They seem to like shadey spots best. I planted the first little 2" plug under a young maple... gave them a little top dressing of compost last fall... other than that?...:D
