I've been growing these butterfly ones for three years now, although I did grow some dwarf 'snap-dragons' as well this year. I much prefer them - they're so exotic, somehow. :-0)

Not quite as easy to grow as the 'snap-dragon' type, but well worth it. :-))

I assume annuals like the 'normal' one, mind some do manage to overwinter in sheltered spots. do these?

Yes - a white one that's at the foot of the r-hand steps did, and was in full bloom in June - it attracted a LOT of attention! I was asked many times what it was.

I've got dwarf ones this years but they're not that good, not enough flowers for my taste.Maybe I'll try the double ones next year, they'll fit well in my front garden :-)

Why not? They are beautiful, and the range of colours is good.
