Like dahlias, i've always disliked fuschias but i have to say ..... since joining GoY and seeing this one and a few others i'm having my views changed ;-)))
I think i'm going to dip my toe in the water and buy one, i 'do' like this ones colouring :-))
Is this hardy Wagger and if so, what site etc do you have it in ?

As you can see, a pot at the moment, lol. They're going into a fairly shady border and I'll give them lots of grit in my heavy soil. I'll plant them at least an inch deeper than they are in the pots as although this is supposed to be hardy I don't know how hardy. I'll also keep one frost free in a pot 'just in case'. I think your climate is far more temperate there in Somerset and you shouldn't have any trouble keeping them.

Do they prefer a shadier site generally or will they take a full sun, hot position ?
It sounds like the soil here will suit them if you're giving them a looser soil.

I think they can take quite a lot of sun so long as their roots are cool. Howell is the one for more info on these, Louise.

I don't know, Louise. He doesn't always feel like 'chatting' on here, does he? I know the feeling sometimes - you know, pull the duvet over your head and stay there!
