Clematis "Marie Boisselot/Madame le Coultre

This Clematis grows on a seated arbor in back garden and I can only see the flowers if I stand on the seat and poke my head over the top. Hope I get some more lower and I will take more photos.

I got this one, just finished its second flush, the first was outstanding but like you ---all at the top !

Thank you Elsie, I think so too. Val, I wonder if we prune at different times then since mine is only just flowering for the first time.

Funny that, I was thinking the same thing, my first flush was in June and always has been, plant is about 5yrs old. Don't give it much of a prune ( never quite sure how ) lol. I was going to look it up ! :0))

That's probably why then, cos I usually cut mine down low in the back end of Autumn. But if I leave it will the flowers be even further out of view! Still may be worth a try.
