Yes I have 3, had them for about 15 years. Supposed to prune them back hard, but I can't do that now. Don't know if you can still buy them, I haven't seen them lately.

Do you keep yours in pots Cinderella? Mine are, and they are not nearly as tall as yours.

No these are not meant to go in pots Silverbelle, they were quite large when I got them and have always been in the garden. I know you can get the smaller ones, are they called Minarettes, or something like that. These are about 8 or 9 feet tall I should think.

Mine must be Minarettes then, because I was told that they could be grown in pots - large ones. I do get some fruit from the apple trees, but none from the pear.

Have you got room to put them in the garden ? Do you feed them at all ? I usually scatter some potash or any other type of fertiliser around them.
