Thats a pretty moth.

It was, Carol - it stayed still for ages.

Never seen one like this before.

I was hoping that Bb or Toto might see it. They're likely to know what it is.

No, it's because I'm retired, so I can choose how much time I work in the garden - you can't, yet. Guess what - there was no family silver! Boo hoo.:-(((
