Great shot Lori ! Noticed yesterday that I have dozens of them in my garden too. They are so quick, it's hard to get a clear pic of them.

Sorry TOG... yes, as Louise says it's a hummingbird moth, Sphingidae, Macroglossum stellatarum... it's wing spread is about 2-1/2 to 3 inches and he zzzzips and sips like a mini hummingbird. The first time a person sees one of these they usually don't realize it's an insect. LOL. Flcrazy...I do that silly dance with butterflies too... they move so fast and I'm so slow... this fellow cooperated by having a nice long drink and even when I got close with the macro he stayed put until he had his fill.
