Sunflower Velvet Queen with visitor

lovely colour Tog,

How many different varieties of sunflower do you grow Tog? I've never seen so many colours.

I started off with a pack of seeds last year, then stored their seed. They are all Velvet Queen, but there seems to be a varity of different colours. This year I plan to keep the seeds from the different heads seperate and see what comes up next year.

I'm going to do the same with some sweet peas. There are a few that are such a lovely colour that I'd like to grow again .......... but judging from your experience I may end up with a variety of colours and not the ones I would like. Still, I can but try.

I will also be saving my sweetpea seeds, I have a favourite 2 tone purple one.

The best one in my bunch is white with pink tips, the scent is gorgeous. But I will save the seed from others as well, and hope I get something from them.
