This plant really lives up to its name - it's a miniature Penstemon. The flower stems don't stand up lile the usual tall ones do.

Very nice!
How small is it?

No, Cinders! That was very restrained, wasn't it!
It's only about 4" tall... and very pretty, but you need to get up close to it.
Kath, I can't remember, but only a couple of weeks before you see the roots appearing - obviously longer before the roots are big enough to pot the cuttings up.

I haven't seen that one before Barbara ,it's very pretty , a nice height for growing in gravel in my sundial circle , one to look out for !

I hadn't ever seen one like this before either, so I was pleased. It fits nicely into the bed across the path from the one I re-vamped. Blog to follow! :-))

Yes, it's planted in the newly-revamped bed. I do hope it survives. I shall take cuttings, anyway.
