Hi Stevie. Thanks for taking the time to comment on my photo. It was the Magical Mystery Tour really. Everything in Rutland has changed such a lot since I left in 1971, it was a mystery what was round the next corner, although as a kid we used to cycle all around Rutlands country roads, on some of them I knew every bump and bunch of nettles..hih.

Nice to meet you Rogi its a shame when your home place changes so much, as of most of the uk Yorkshire is the least altered and spoilt by change was said on tv last week.

Sorry Rogi, for some reason your pic made me think of Rutland weekend television and the Rutles. lovely to revisit your nice memories

Hi Christina. I like to visit Rutland now and again, but it has nothing to offer me now. I left when I was 20..and you know how old I am now!. My son (25 years old) likes to go to see where I grew up. I don´t have many relations living in the UK now, so a visit every few years is nice, but I´m always glad to be here back home.

@ Stevie: I only know Rutland Weekend TV and The Rutles from youtube, It´s not bad.
