Sarah and Andy got married on 7 August 2010 - so just a year has passed. Our garden looks very similar this year.

The young couple have just moved into a new build property with a very small garden. We did a 'makeover' one Saturday - we curved their lawn to make wavy flower borders on each side. Then we planted a few fairly large evergreens such as variegated holly, camellia, red robin, together with some acers and azaleas. A few perennials and other bits and pieces completed the picture. They were delighted.

We have just raided our forest bark pile and given them several bags to mulch.

They want us to write down all the instructions for maintaining the garden. Until they had their own property they had very little interest in gardening and now they are visiting garden centres every week!

thats really good and how nice that they are taking to the garden now. so is this their garden or yours?

Would be good to see you all. We're having a quieter year of garden openings this year, so we've just had our last one.
