Swans & Cygnets on Devizes canal

We have always wanted a Canal Boat Holiday, but never have quite got round to it.....Lovely to see the family of Swans

Strange you should say that, as I have always wanted a canal boat holiday as well. Don't think it will happen now. We, my sister and I went to do shopping and ended up at the canal yesterday watching the boats. Fascinating.

Is this your barge I would love to live on one but hubby says no chance lol I spent my childhood on the canal in macclesfield fishing and helping with the locks I loved it and I watch the programs on sky about the canals I must get a life lol

No....No way is it my barge. I wouldnt want to own one, but I would love to live on one for a month or two, just to experience it. Because it is such a different way to live. Kind of back to the old days I would think.

just got back from Stratford- on- avon we went on a boat ride and passed lots of long boats makes you wonderif we would like one ?

It appears to be a very relaxed type of life, back to nature sort of thing
