I've had mine (two plants) for four years now so they have survived both the last two winters although they did look very tatty this spring

I have seen large clumps of this growing in gardens Southwest Cornwall, and huge clumps on Tresco...

Andrew are these in the garden? ours is in a pot,kept it in all last winter, was worried it would not survive the cold.

DD - yes, they are in the garden but get some protection from a nearby evergreen tree. They definitely did NOT enjoy last winter though

I lost mine last winter Andrew.....should have taken it in though it survived outdoors 3 winters previously.....
