It`s definitely and Astrantia Cinders but I can`t for the life of me remember which variety. No matter, I wanted a deep red one and thats what I got...lol!

Sorry Sandra I didnt look at the heading. A senior moment I'm afraid. How big do they get Sandra as I am thinking of getting one.

Do you know Cinders I`m not entirely sure, some Astantias are bigger than others and I remember that this one didn`t have any information on the label (even if I can`t remember the variety!). They never get huge though and the little pincushion flowers are lovely, especially in amongst Heucheras which we both love! :o)

Thanks for that, only I am going to a garden show on Friday, and am thinking of getting one of those, either the dark one or Roma, pink.

lol...I`m always sneaking plants in so Oh doesn`t know I`ve bought them. He does wonder from time to time how long something has been there and I always say it was there for years and that he just hadn`t noticed. ;o)

Is it an Astrantia ? It looks good with the light Heuchera behind it.
