Spider`s Web

I see this first thing this morning just before I left for work, I just had to grab my camera in the hope it would take a good photo.

I love spider's webs Sandra, and this is a nice one. This may sound daft, but every year at this time, there is a huge one by the compost bin, behind the shed..a very sensible place for unsuspecting insects..It is in exactly the same place, attached to the fence post and the fence, and it set me wondering,if the next generation have a homing instinct,as surely it can't be the same spider..or could it? I don't know the habits or life span of a spider..not something I have studied..Lol.It would be interesting if someone on Goy could tell me,as I'm sure there will be an expert out there...anyway,just a thought...I have a lot of strange thoughts sometimes..am I mad ????

It doesn`t sound all that unreasonable Bloomer, I`ve heard that spiders can live for 3 years so why not. Perhaps it is the same one but if not, perhaps the young are born there and they carry on the tradition. The webs are certainly a work of art.
