I dont know if you saw my earlier blog about Bluetits nesting in the garden, but yesterday I decided to clean the box out ready for next time, it was so sad as I found one of the babies dead inside it had got all its feathers such a shame it didnt quite make it;0(

Yes Pansy I did see your blog. That's so sad, especially as it had it's feathers. ;o((

Pp : exactly the same thing when we cleaned ours out last year. One left behind and they didn't choose our garden this year. : o ((((

It is sad but I supose we have to feel privleged that we have supported some birds to raise their families in our gardens

We were hoping something would nest this year as we've had so many birds visit, but sadly not.
