With this second flush of flowers, don't bother to deadhead them to get more blooms, as in Spring, as this will not really work, with the approaching shorter days, and cooler night temps. Just let them do their own thing, enjoy the colour, and any visiting insects, then allow them to go to seed. You may find that you get little babies popping up in the future, although the flowers of the coloured varieties would, eventually, revert to that of the lovely native primrose.

i have lots of primulas in flower as well yorkshire....... lovely to see them back

just seen another one thats come out, glad I never threw them out in the spring, seems a funny time to see them in flower. left you a PM
