FLAX LLILY

I saw this in a garden centre the other day, lovely colour, resisted the urge though when I saw it needed winter protection, so many things to move in the greenhouse already, running out of space :-( have the plain green one which is getting quite large no flowers yet though, bought it for the lovely purple berries, ah well maybe next year.

Oh Simbad I didn't know it wasn't fully hardy, I hope I can rear it. I am sure it doesn't say it needed protection on the label?

Strange, know the plain greens hardy as it survived last winter in my unheated greenhouse(its in a pot) picked this one up and it said needs winter protection on its label, I'm off to have a google and see, may have to go back for it if its hardy:-)

Just looked it up and says hardy on the description, so let;s hope that's right then you can get down to the garden centre and give it a go lol!
