Thunbergia mysorensis - Clock Vine

Glad you got to see some pics. of the flowers! It's a common vine here. I wanted to plant one...however, I made the mistake of planting Thunbergia 'Blushing Susan' which has taken over the whole side of my house. They tend to grow out of control very quickly in our warm subtropical climate.

David - if ever you're in Oxford (a long way I know), check out the botanic gardens - it seems to be in constant flower there!

This is an ever-blooming vine...like all the other Thunbergia species. : > )

I was told by one bay area "expert" this wont grow in the bay area.
What do you think?

I would try it. Most Thunbergia species are pretty hardy up there.
