TWELVE feet!! I was chuffed with mine making it to four feet this year!

Yes, it grows very quickly in the ground. I've seen them grow from a tiny plant to 10 feet/ 9 meters within one summer with lots of water an fertilizer.

Wow that fast..

Well mine hasn't reached these epic heights yet, but has flowered all spring and summer, and is currently loaded with buds!
It seems to bloom profusely, take a rest when it just blooms steadily, then have another period of blooming profusely, and so on and so forth! We are just entering it's third period of blooming profusely this year!!
