Did you know you can eat these. They have to be soft and juicy. They are quite mild flavoured, some have a peppery flavour.

Oh...another one.... one can eat...I discovered yesterday, that what I used to call Rudbeckia, is actually "Jerusalem Artichokes", the tubers can be eaten and very nutritious...how wonderful! I have so much of those...they can be invasive...I shall be digging the tubers up to have a look....
