Kirengeshoma Palmata

Kirengeshoma Palmata

This plant likes damp shade. It's had to be moved so I'm glad it's survived and still flowering in it's first year. The leaves are also very pretty when they haven't been munched!

Karen I get lots of tiny holes in the leaves ,tried spraying but made very little difference.I think it may be a moth laying eggs on the leaves but have not seen them.Do you have the same.

Bjs, almost every leaf in my whole garden has been munched by something. No idea what it is, could be leaf cutter bees on some and I think earwigs do a lot of damage too. Moths? don't know, but i guess it could well be! I suppose we should celebrate the biodiversity but I find it quite frustrating to be honest! lol :)

I upturned the leaves of an Aquilegia today to find the tiniest green caterpillars munching their way through the leaves. Grrrrr !
