We had a big scare today!
My daughter moved her car to let my wife go to work and did not close the front door completely. When I started out to work, the front door was agar and all of my cats were GONE!
"Trouble", the big cat was out in the front yard munching on grass, and ran inside as soon as I opened the door. Little "Izzy" the kitten, was out in the middle of the street, playing with a bug, and "Smokey-Boy" was no where to be found!
I had to go to work and all day long, did not know where my "Smokey boy" was..
To make a long story short, My wife located him after a few hours and he had been outdoors all day.
When I got home from work and saw my "little gray baby" in the living room, I was SO relieved!
All day long I was super stressed about what happened to "Smokey"..
WHEW! What a day..

Thank goodness all was well N2.......bet they had a whale of a time....Lol!
It is worrying though if theyre not used to the great outdoors,,,,,my 2 have never been out the front of our cottage as it opens onto the street......though they spend all their time in the garden at the back...until we had builders at the front and Teddy was sitting on the scaffolding! You can imagine, I was leaping about worrying, then they said, that he did it all the time....came over the roof to them....:o((

Janey, what I was most worried about was the wildlife out here that could eat a common house-cat. We have seen Bobcats, Coyotes, and a huge Red-tail hawk that cold easily carry away a 5 pound cat.

That day was very scary...

Goodness...that does sound scarey N2O....Glad they're all safe and sound....Our cat Nali plays outside quite a lot, but doesn't go far.......:>)
