Bought on Sunday at the plant fair.

It didn't have a name, Sbg...it's supposed to be a hardy one, though.

Lovely!
I nearly bought one back from Cornwall last week (labelled Microphylla), but came back with a Polygala instead. Wish I'd bought it as well, it could always have sat on Sue's lap for the four hour journey!!

Polygalas are great, too! Shame you didn't buy it, though. :-((

Space was rather limited Spritz, as for some inexplicable reason we took my convertible rather than something sensible!
You're right about the Polygala though. But I want to add a few of the species and dwarf Fuchsias to the collection next year. I started it off this year with F.perscandens, but the bug bit fully when I saw the F.procumbens at the botanic gardens in Oxford.

I know F. procumbens, Louise bought one at Malvern, but not the other one.
Moral: If you might go plant shopping, do NOT drive a convertible vehicle! LOL.

I have it in my "garden" (link below) Sptitz.

Not to everyones taste I'm sure, but so different, and for me I find it nice to have one of the pure ones.

Interesting! Has Hywel seen it, do you think? He has quite a collection of Fuchsias.

I don't know to be honest.
This is just coming into bud again. It was loaded when it arrived, but almost all of them fell off!

Oh.... What a shame! At least it's recovering, though. :-)

One of the problems of mail order plants isn't it!
Hardy down to minus 5 deg c, but it'll be in a coldframe this winter.

Oooohh...even in mild Somerset we went down that far last winter! I think you're wise.

convertibles are good compared to going on a motor bike! We once went on the harley and despite the paniers/back box limited to what we could buy :o(

I bet! I can just imagine you clutching plants though and trying to balance.....haha.
