It always amazes me that people get excited over this plant ... it's such a common sight here in my part of the world that we miss just how great it is.

Same here Bernieh.It grows in every nook and corner and nobody really cares for it.But I like it in every colour.

It's so true isn't it Camillia? Hibiscus really doesn't get people too excited around here ... I've had them in every garden I've ever had and I've never planted one of them! Our nurseries don't have as many as they used to ... I don't think they sell very well anymore!!

we called it "gumamela" here in our country.. it has different colors..but the flower last just for a day.
