From those I had sown in the tulip pot, most are a dusty pink and less distinctive. This blue one just started an I'm loving it, a lovely icy blue. Nigella is getting a place in the garden. :-) This was a try out.

Nigella is a beautiful plant isn't it, especially these icy blue ones! Mine do seed, but that's all to the good!

I like to see them intermingled with Sweetpeas. Mine were all white this year, they do spread seed easily but as they`re in my dogrun that is ok, anything growing in there needs to be a survivor.......

The seed pods have not even dried yet and the season has ended. I'll probably cut and dry them to spread next year. The cold can kill them too. Might not have them as volunteers but I can make some. I did have allisom spread itself this year and summer savory. I'll try to take just blue seed but probably don't come true. Lovely idea with the sweet peas, a nice drift of blossoms :-)

It will probably self seed everywhere, but it's a lovely plant to have in the garden.
