Clematis Blooming Along!

My new clematis is rewarding me in its new home with quick growth and many more blooms. Here is all three stages right now, even the fourth stage of the leaves in those little cupped positions ending each stem, forming a new bud inside. I'm loving it!

Thanks. I love it! I've grown attached to a few more that we have at work I may add in the spring. It has continued blooming from midsummer right through until the first cool night, just a few weeks ago. Thats a real performer for here! A few more of these for some new shrubs I've gotten (Idea from your planting of course Karen) and a few vines for the fence and I'll be set to watch another season. :-)

That's a beauty GT. So glad you're pleased with it. Great colour and I love the ones that have twisted sepals like this! I just planted three more like this, the non-clinging ones, for my roses. Two pink and one blue. Eriostemon Heather Herchell, Savannah and Eriostemon Hendersonii - which looks similar to this one I think.
