Thanks TT, this was actually my third foray into Alstros..the first was a beautiful orange I bought at Bolsover on hols..but I lost it. These were two big pots from GC at end season, paid £1.99 for ea pot! They have spread so much (after I realised almost too late what a great slug feast they are!!!) I dug some up and gave to friend. Now have to dig up more and put in pot. But I have since purchased 5 more which are going great guns!
These plus Inca Ice remain my favourites tho.

... first time, it read as if you dug up some SLUGS and gave them to a friend ... dug up MORE slugs and put them in a pot ... ;o) Lol...

Inca Ice... that's a lovely name isn't it ...

shows how pooped I am..getting to old for this gardening lark lol! Spent the day splitting and potting up two huge iris plants and a kniphofia that had got too big..potted 30 plants today! And yesterday did almost as much..hence my poor english!
And yes, we dug up a few slugs too! lol!
