Thanks BB it lost a lot of leaves earlier on in the year, so I was a little bit worried about it, could be normal I just dont know...would hate to lose it now, had it a long time.

It certainly looks very healthy now Dd...could have been a spin off from the harsh winter last year ?

Lovely looking plant. Has it ever produced fruit? They would normally be ripening as the flowers appear.

Fractal it normally produces lots of fruit, but not this time, I think BB could be correct, they are not fully hardy and it did lose such a lot of leaves after last winter.

Hi Dotty, searched for Arbutus unedo and found your picture. Have one arriving this week. Can I ask a couple of questions please, is it easy to keep as a large shrub likes yours, did it grow fast. Thinking it would make a good privacy screen. Do you recommend it. Thanks, Dawn

Hi Dawn, it is not fast growing, but very easy to keep it this size, lost a few branches again last winter but still looking good, will post a new pic for you to see, depending on the size it could take you a few years to get any privacy lol
