Ladybird on a dahlia

It took me a while to set this photo up. I used a black card background to the flower ,the stem of which was in a glass of water out of shot. The plant was positioned on my kitchen window sill and strong sunlight was coming through the window at a shallow angle from top right. I didn't even see the lady bird until I put the photo up on my computer screen!
