Im not a fuchsia lover..but this is wonderful

There are a lot of what I call "fussy" ones about that I'm not into either Motinot. This is one of the species Fuchsias originating from New Zealand. So nice to have something a little different!

Has the name on this been changed from F.excorticada? I believe that a very potent liquer can be made from the fruit. Super photo.

It is a similar flower to F.excorticada, although about half the size maybe. The big difference is that this is a scrambling shrub, whereas F.excorticada is a tree Fuchsia (it can be quite a large tree at that).
I didn't know about the liquor though!
