Beautiful Pip. Took the young Granddaughter to nursery a few weeks ago, and was amazed to see purple flowers in a Eucalyptus tree opposite her school. Crossed the road for a closer look, and it was a clematis climbing up through it. The owners had planted the Clematis at the base of the trunk and it had wound itself right up and through it. Looked really lovely, had a nice effect. :o))

Lovely tree Pip C! Lindalooloo, I have the same....my clematis is Polish Spirit and it goes really beautifully with the blue leaves of the Eucalyptus!

Well I was sitting in the car waiting for the school to open, and just generally looking around at the scenery. I happened to look up at this tree, and it took me ages to try and work out what these purple flowers were. I knew it was a eucalyptus, but then started to doubt myself because of the flowers. It's only when I looked closer I realised what a numbskull I was Lol. hehehe :o))
