Tetrarch:
Most building constructed in Balboa Park are Spanish-Renaissance style. Also, many of the homes here in Southern Californnia are Spanish style homes with terra cotta roofs.

I love the moorish influence on Spanish architecture, but this has something more..

You can see a lot more...as I've posted several hundred pics of Balboa Park on GoY. : >)

Then I will while away an hour or two....just in time as its grey, wet and windy..just the sort of day for looking at lovely sunny pics!

Tetrarch:
Yes, that would be the perfect weather to look at sunny pics. : > )
Luckily, we don't get many days with grey, wet and windy weather here in sunny San Diego. If we do, it doesn't last very long...typically, only a few hours.

Well, looking on the bright side..I don't have to sit and long for rain or escape from relentless sun toooo often! lol! I just dream of a summer that sunny all day long and rain at night between about 1am and 6am. Ahhh Utopia!!

That's funny! : >)
I wish we had rain almost every night between 1:00 am - 6:00 am. also, then we wouldn't be in the horrible drought we're in...with water restrictions.

LOL M!! you have the right of it there...(If you like the architecture you should check out Seville)
Can't take extreme temps these days...dreading our cold winter...but endless sun would make me crisp! I have memories of a very few summers with just that weather pattern...day was sunny and moderate temps...a few fluffy clouds...and rain after midnight..."Ahhh Utopia!"
Always lived where there's lots of water...I sympathize D1. Wonder why they don't post a huge cash prize for mass production of de-salinized water!
