Thanks Lin - all three of my carnation plants have at lest 100 buds each, I'm not exaggerating. I'm in for agood harvest, which is good seeing as I plnted loads of seeds and only got three plants in the end :o)

So did you grow these from seed Pip? I've never grown them from seed before. I must say they are beauties.

I did grow them from seed, planted them in April and although it said 'flowering 28 days' on the seed packet it took about 5 months ;o))) but it was over our winter and the foliage got established really well, so it turned out fine.
