I bought this originally to go in my island bed, in view of its name...then when it flowered, it was all wrong in there, so I moved it! I 'do' like the markings, don't get me wrong, but the name was misleading.

Hmmm...I had a beautiful lilac one called 'Alice Hindley', but she disappeared last winter. I should have taken cuttings, I know. I'll have to get another one - I think she was really my favourite. :-))))

I lost our Alice Hindley too.........this is a pretty one though.

Oh dear - maybe she isn't a good one for hardiness, Dd. I shall definitely try again with her, if I find one, though.
