A mix of overgrown dianthus from the nursery coming in a second flush and the late blooming hosta, sometimes the season isn't long enough for the latest blooming types. Got a few more weeks out of this one.

Thank you. That is what I was thinking. I just threw in some mixed dianthus, but once they really started blooming, I grew so fond. I hope they survive the winter as well.
