I separated one massive clump of hosta this year and they've really done well - been giving them away to anyone who likes them too, there are so many.

Some are in the ground. This one is in a tub. I put it on my doorstep at first but the edges of leaves started to go brown - I thought it might have been a draught whistling through the wheely bins so moved it to a happier place and surrounded it with other tubs.

So...just a wait and see...hope this one recovers for you, SB.

I was advised to grow hostas in a confined area as they do tend to multiply...I assume you have yours in open ground, Silverbell? None planted yet until our borders can accommodate planting but they will be good in more shaded area of our garden.
