How long have you had your fushia genii? I've got one and mine has been flowering since about early July and has been loaded eversince. Mine is a huge plant although I cut it right back at the end of last year to about 9 inches. I'll take a photo of it tommow and post it for you to see. I think the foliage on this one makes this plant , although the flower is pretty too.

i planted this one last spring & it flowered well last summer but just is late this year! I agree with you that the foliage makes this one too.

Ive posted a photo of mine Elsie, but the foliage is going a bit darker now . It looked the same colour as yours when it first leafed up but they tend to go a bit darker as they get near to the end of the season.
