Chilean Glory Flower

By Meanie

Chilean Glory Flower (Eccremocarpus scaber (Chilean glory flower))

Quite apt to be posting a photo of this after the events in Chile this week.
Often perceived as being a little tender, this plant is hardier than a lot of people give it credit for. Started off in March from the seeds kindly sent by Sid, this has grown into a good strong vine with nice woody stems.

Barring an Arctic winter, it should be tough enough to get through!
