Hi David,
It is 'wood' that you find everywhere, where one stacks things onto. To transport things, it is usually thrown away (discarded of), so they form a sort of platform, in a rectangular shape, and are about 1.20 meter or so long...
Perhaps you know what I mean?

Hi Hilda. I thought, afterwards, that loorboards would be very expenisve to re-use in this way. I think that the word you are looking for is "pallet".

Thanks a lot, David.
Because the word is the same in Dutch, I thougth it could not be possible to be the same.

You are very welcome, Hilda!! Glad that I was of some use :-)) Of course, I meant floorboards, above - not loorboards, lol!! Am finding that I have to type slower with this new text size, or letters get left out. :-(
Pallets here are usually square, 1 x 1metre. I have seen pics of benches and tables made by members on here in the past - excellent. They are difficult to get, however, as they belong to individual companies, and should be returned to them.
This must have been a very interesting exhibition!!

Yes, there also was a wormery, then the produce of liquid feed from comfrey etc.

neat idea. worth thinking about on a smaller scale; it'd be a lot cheaper and a whole lot more fun than buying a bench
lol I don't see very well, and when I first clicked the picture, I read the title as "skin garden", which made me look a lot closer!

They look a bit like floorboards, Hilda? Pine or spruce, perhaps?
