You must give them a go Linda , I'm sure you will be very pleased with them , they aren't fussy and flower all summer long and come in so many different colours ....
There are so many Carole , I use to know them but I can't say that now , I'm sure they change their names each year to make a selling point ,a lot of them look identical to me .......

Beautiful Amy. They are so lovely - do you save seeds? Mine seem to have ripe seeds but dont know if its viable to sow them?

I take cuttings Dawn they take easily and are much quicker , another way I found out was to pull down a stalk peg it to the ground with something ,even a kitchen bag tie will do bent over if it's long enough ,leave it there until the spring and with luck you will have a nice new plant ready to move ... good luck ..

I hope it works for you Dd , I found out by accident as I found a stalk had become buried when I freed it from the soil it had roots growing from it ... Thanks Elsie :o)

Hi Amy
I never grow Penstemons but I think I will give them a try next year as I would like the late flowers. This is a nice one.
