Can't believe this waited all summer for this one to flower, and just noticed a flower scape today, had a couple of wrong plants from this supplier, so was hoping it would flower to see if it was 'right', what do you think the chances are of it flowering before it gets too cold, nil I think:-(

Yes here's hoping as this is the second time I've bought this one, first time it was from a different supplier and the wrong plant , although it turned out to be one I was going to buy anyway and very lovely(Mildred Mitchel).

A few warm days may do it Simbad, although not today here in Cornwall, pouring of rain.

Rained here all day too Pam, lovely yesterday though, found space for some of my plants in pots then thought I'd split a few plants that had got too large, big mistake, split 2 white tradescantia, replanted 3 pieces and still had 8 quite large pieces left, back to square one, lol, now where do I put them!!!! god knows what I'll do when the 130 odd daylilies want splitting.

This is how I started selling at plant sales, problem is one has to find room to keep the potted plants untill the sale

Agree Pam, thought maybe a car boot but then there's pots and compost, the daylilies aren't so bad, sold loads of them on ebay recently, made quite a bit, but just bought more, lol, and they can be sent bareroot, I have a little nursery bed but its full of tradescantia and other divisions, lol.

Our garden club holds two sales a year in a local cattle market. The autumn one is very useful for clearing plants before winter sets in.

That sounds handy Pam, don't have a gardening club here, shame.
Errm no DD,well did buy one a couple of weeks ago, it was a bargain, lol, a seller I buy from regularly had been listing one 'Lady Betty Fretz' he'd sold it several times once for £23 so had a bid and got it for £6, lovely one ivory with a red eye and red and gold edge, 2005 introduction so fairly new, couldn't miss that could I,lol, thats it now, well until spring anyway:-)
