Jackie the camera is nothing very expensive although i have been a fan or a long while,its Panasonic DMC TZ3 with wide angle and 10x zoom.This model will have been upgraded several times since i bought it.They advertise them on TV a lot demonstrating how good the zoom is.
The other + for me is the Leica lens which is brilliant.

Thanks for that homebird and the card, I am busy doing a painting based on the crocus,probably finish it over Christmas it seems to go better after the odd glass.
