Taken in the gardens of Clarence House.

It is, but it's not my handiwork! It is part of a display of unusual containers in the Garden Party to Make a Difference at Clarence House in September. I wrote about it here -

I posted it as someone was asking what laurel plants could be trained right up against a house - as they'd seen at Clarence House. I had a couple of photos that I'd taken where they could just be seen.
Have a look at the blog I pasted the address of above to see lots more ideas - lettuces growing in pots set in holes in a propped up door, planted in an old chest of drawers, troughs made of guttering......
