My little tree just starting to bloom.

This is still very young as yet - it's been in three years now, and hasn't really grown an awful lot. I had to have one here - I had a wonderful one in Kent, and I loved it.
I think it is early, though - it usually waits until the leaves have fallen.

Yes - the tree in Kent used to be in flower all through the autumn and winter. Just beautiful! I wish my 'baby' would hurry up and grow a bit!

Yes, they are a bit slow to get going aren't they. I've had mine in since the first spring..so that's coming up for five years now, and it's taken off this year and it now about 3.5-4m tall. It was very small when planted.

Wow! Lucky you! No sign of swelling buds on mine yet!! Gosh it is a lovely tree isn't it...whenever it flowers! Lovely to see it with flowers and leaves! Leaves on mine are all a lovely golden colour and just about to fall. One mild winter I had a few flowers in December, but never before then.....amazing difference in the flowering time....2 months! I'll let you know when mine flowers...it will be interesting!
