This little shrub seems to have flowered all season long.
To the right in the blue pot is a Osmanthus heterophyllus `Goshiki`, and you can see three little red rose buds `Dublin Bay` just at the back.

Yes, very pretty. Does Coronilla have scent stroller?

Haven`t notice any scent Karen, will take a sniff in the morning if it isn`t pouring with rain which it has been doing all day today.

No noticable perfume Karen but I think there was a slight perfume to it earlier on in the year, perhaps its because of the cold that its lost its scent as it does say on the label that it is fragrant.

Nice shot, Stroller scuse my ignorance, whats the big climber on the trellis there with the nice green leaves

Steve - its Stauntonia hexaphylla, it quite a vigorous climber and has fragrant, dull pink flowers in late spring.
It does need to be grown against a sunny sheltered wall.
This was planted March 2008 and I have had no flowers as yet, but the folliage has been like this all through last winter even though it is supposed to be tender.

oh thought it looked familiar, however mine looks a little different to yours but looks like a good coverage

Is yours 'Citrina', Stroller? Are the flowers slightly more lemon coloured than mine, which are buttercup yellow?
I've also seen a variegated one - just lovely. :-)))

Yes Spritz, its a `Citrina`. Perhaps its the way the sunshine, yes I did say sunshine, was stanting across the plant - looking at it in the flesh so to speak it looks a deeper yellow.

I wish I could find a space for the variegated one - I really liked it! I don't think it would like a position in the open, though - they need more shelter, don't they.

Spritz, I do think they are on the tender side, mine is a South facing garden and coronilla is on a west facing fence
I planted it in March this year - ht about 10" - so as you can see it has done very well.
I haven`t seen the variegated one must look out for it.
