i did have buds... but the winds and rain have ruined them.... you may just be lucky.. : O ))

I have some miniature roses growing on the middle bar of my balcony railings. It's a beautiful, velvety red one that I've had for a number of years now. Its in flower at this moment, (or at least it was a couple of days ago before we had these terrible winds), & may continue till we have a strong frost.

Yesterday I was in the 99p shop in town & I saw they had 100s of miniature roses. I would have liked to buy a few to put on my balcony for next summer but only a few weeks ago I put in some I rescued from my mum's grave. One of my brothers or sisters had put a couple of pots of them there & they were almost dead. So I brought them home & now they have joined the other roses on the balcony. I hope they grow next year.

I had a look at the miniature roses on the balcony railings & it is still in flower, even after I moved it a few weeks ago! I would have taken a photo but the sun was too low in the sky & exactly in front of the balcony & the photo wouldn't have come out. I'll see if I can get a photo tomorrow.
