Thanks Brian, I took a cutting but found out "you can propagate them only from seed or from portions of the
root with growing points" Need to go find some seeds or a cutting with roots...

lol, you sound like me Geraniumdad!!! I took a cutting of this plant while taking a walk so I don't know anything about it. Sadly I found out that it can't be grown from a cutting ;o( only from stems that have roots and seeds.
I feel the need to take a walk that way soon.

They do spread quite quickly and they are really tough..thought I lost a red dwarf one couple of years ago and when we were digging over that bit of garden, we turned up some small tubers. I put them in a couple of pots..and they have both sprouted!!
Slugs and snails however, think the fresh new growth is caviar..so pellets are needed until they get about 6inches tall.
