This is a photo of the Christmas Cactus on our living room table. There are two small pots that have been flowering for a couple of weeks.

Thanks, Gilli, I'm glad you like it!
Sorry to hear about your plant dying :-(( Did you perhaps overwater it? These plants are adapted for surviving drought & will quickly succumb to too much water. I hope your other plants continue to grow & give you pleasure. I read on a Wikipedia page that these plants can live for 100 years or more, given the right conditions!

Definitely not overwatered Balcony, but perhaps the opposite. They got a bit neglected over the summer this year. It's surprising that the other two are fine though.

It's much more difficult to kill them through lack of water than through excess, that's why I wondered if it might have been overwatered.

Difficult it might be Balcony but it appears I may have succeeded!! LOL

It's not impossible - even I've done it! The ones in the photo above have been in the same tiny pots for several years! The only thing is that they are so top heavy that it's difficult to keep them upright! In fact one of them is held up by another, bigger pot. I also have a bigger plant - somewhere! (Obviously not in flower or I'd know where it is!)
