A boy after my heart Margo.....

He's such a lovely looking boy isnt he Alex! He's "guardianed" by my son and his wife, been a big problem for seven years, but settling down now.

Glad things are settling down. It looks like your love for plants has rubbed off on him!!!

I don't see much of any of them Alex, they all work in the same place, my son & daughter in law and my grand-daughter (who has two girls just of school age) and grandson, and they all work different shifts to cover for the children. Although my grand daughter and her OH drives, my son and daughter in law don't. And I tend to be strict with the children (on manners and tidiness) my d-in-law doesn't, so I keep a healthy distance lol! My son is more like me, so I keep away so I don't take sides!!

WOW Margo, that sounds difficult. I would probably do the same as you. Keep laughing my friend. ;o))

Oh I do, I do! it doesnt do to get down over what you cant change Alex! I learn to live around it. Anything that gets me mad, I just sit down at the computer, write a nasty scurrilous grunge letter, put all my evil thoughts into it..then delete it! Then it goes precisely where these things belong..in the rubbish bin! Ive actually sat and read them and laughed at myself for being so childish in having a tantrum. Its better than saying these things out loud, once said, you cant recall your words which you might later regret. It can also make you see a nicer, kinder way to solve the problem...sometimes...lol! Life is too good to waste on rows and arguments, hey Alex! So I'll join you in a right good laugh.

I mentioned your method to a friend of mine and reminded her that "once said, you can't recall your words"!!! How true, and like you I don't say the words out loud until I'm calm enough.
Life IS too good to waste so let's laugh it up Margo!!! ;o)))))
